This half day tour will visit several traditional attractions around the Protaras area including the Traditional Folklore Museum, the amazing hillside Cave Church of Agioi Saranta, pass by traditional windmills on the way to visit Paralimni fishing harbour and the picturesque Agios Nikolaos church and, finally, visit the highest point of Protaras - Profitis Elias church on top of the rock - where you can take panoramic photographs of Protaras. A moderate amount of uphill walking is involved in this tour.
This tour includes all the attractions of the half day Traditional tour and also includes lunch in a traditional taverna followed by a visit to the unspoilt natural area of Cavo Gkreko, taking in the picturesque Lovers Bridge, Ayioi Anargiroi church and the stunning Sea Caves. A moderate amount of walking is involved in this tour, some of it uphill.
This full day tour will visit the beautiful and traditional village of Lefkara where you can wander the narrow streets and watch the village ladies making lace outside of their small shops. Here you can also enjoy a peaceful lunch in the lovely shady courtyard of a traditional village taverna. After lunch we will visit a local vineyard to see how wine is made here in Cyprus and, of course, sample the produce! A moderate amount of walking is involved in this tour. This full day tour will visit the 2,000 year old Roman city of Kourion in the Limassol district of Cyprus. This stunning archaeological site is the best example of Roman history on the island and boasts preserved mosaic floor coverings and a spectacular amphitheatre and many other sights. After lunch at a seafront taverna we will visit the ancient Neolithic settlement of Choirokoitia - a remarkably well-preserved settlement dating back to 3,000-4,000 BCE and which has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998.
